Located in the heart of Cornwall between the River Camel and The Camel Trail. St Anne's Cottage is just 2 miles from the centre of Bodmin. An ideal base for exploring this beautiful county or enjoying a peaceful break with riverside and woodland walks, cycling and fishing. Our guests always leave us wishing they could stay longer!
The original cottage was built around 1850 and once had the railway line running right past our kitchen window. The former railway line has now become the popular Camel Trail with approximately 19 miles of picturesque and easy off road cycling, walking or horse riding.
Our garden slopes down to the beautiful River Camel with a superb 'pool' for fishing (subject to licence and day pass from Bodmin Anglers). We also have a cabin retreat in the garden which guests are welcome to use while enjoying the garden, on a lovely evening there is nothing nicer than a glass of wine down by the river!
We also have our own Art Studio to browse during the warmer weather, sadly in the winter our damper climate means that the art work must be safely packed away. We can even arrange an Art Class for you with a well known local artist, Sally Jones or at nearby Stable Art Just ask us for more information.
Our home is very much our place of work as well, we teach, write and sometimes offer workshops in subjects such as dowsing, meditation and other transpersonal subjects.
We have an open door policy to all our friends and neighbours and trust that once you meet us you may return again!
Come and visit soon!
